I am the fool in love with the fool who is still in love with the fool who hurt her
I am the fool who gazes at the fool I love and utter to myself; I’ve had enough of this fool
I am the fool still addicted to the fool who is foolishly lost
I am the fool obsessed with the fool who is still enamored with another fool
I am the fool trying to unravel her foolish fixation on the fool who hurt her
You’re just a fool, I tell her, you’ve been a fool for so long
Some call me a fool because I expound on the pompatus of love
How can a fool mend the broken heart of another fool? they ask
My answer will sound foolish to them but this is the only world I know; the world of a fool
I am a bigger fool for falling in love with a fool who is still in love with another fool
This breeze I feel is not a fool’s paradise so why does it feel like tranquility to me?
Poor foolish souls in love
I am not ready to crawl away from this fool; not yet
This paradise is for fools only
